1971 Dodge Charger
This car never had any body work done to it. It had rust in the usual places, but overall, it was in pretty good condition. The customer rebuilt the suspension before he brought the car to us, so we only repaired the rusted areas, and then he took it home to finish it.

This photo was taken when the car first arrived.

Typical rust in the lower passenger side quarter panel.

We media blasted the paint and rust off the car to see what was actually there.

Repairs were made to the inner panel of the lower passenger side quarter panel...

and coated with a rust inhibitor...

so that final repairs using this aftermarket patch panel could be made.

After finish welding and finish grinding, we shot primer on it to protect it from rust.

This area was need to be cut out of the rear wheel opening on the driver side due to rust.

The inner structure had rust damage and needed to be replaced as well.

This shot shows the inner structure repaired.

We fabricated the partial wheel arch that was needed...

and welded it in place.

After finish welding and finish grinding, we shot primer on it to protect it from rust.

This rusted area is in front of the rear wheel opening on the driver side.

After we cut out the rusted area, we found that the inner structure was rusted as well...

and needed to be repaired.

We then made a patch panel to repair the outside...

and installed it.

After fabricating some filler patches to match the original factory piece, finish welding and finish grinding, we shot primer on it.

The channel around the trunk opening had several rusted areas like this...

that we repaired.

Both fenders had rusted areas that we repaired. This is on the top of the passenger fender where moisture collected between two layers of metal, so we...

cut out the top layer exposing the rust underneath...

removed the rust and fabricated a new patch...

welded it in, ground the welds down and shot some primer on it.

Once the rusted areas were repaired and the body parts were installed and aligned...
the customer took it home to finish it himself.
