1939 Cadillac Convertible
The customer has been the owner of this car for over 40 years, and wants us to do a partial restoration as it will be a driver. We will media blast the outside of the body and fix the rusted areas. We will also fabricate a pair of custom running boards that this car never had.

We offer pickup and/or delivery, and that's what we're doing here...picking up the customer's car to bring to our shop.

This shot shows rust damage in the lower front quarter panel and traces of old repairs.
Cutting out the damaged area revealed an old out-dated trick of using steel wool to backup the body filler that was used in the old repair.
Once we removed the damaged area, we cleaned the inside metal and applied a rust inhibitor.
To properly repair this area, we fabricated a new patch panel, welded it in place, and ground down the welds.
Rust repair is complete on the lower front quarter panel and wheel house.
