1951 Mercury 2 Door

When this car was delivered to us, a lot of custom work had already been done to it. We were to finish up some loose ends to help get this lead sled on the road.

We used 3/8" round bar to french-in the grill...

The taillights were even frenched-in.

We made a custom dash insert...

to accommodate the late model steering column, digital gauges, stereo and other controls.

Aftermarket air conditioning was installed under the factory dash...

and the condenser was installed in the normal location in front of the radiator.

We modified an aftermarket fuel cell with a fuel pump and installed it in the trunk floor...

We made the bracket and mounts for the spare tire than enables it to swing down out of the way.

A rear rollpan was made to fill in the gap between the two halves of the rear bumper.
