1948 Chevy Business Coupe

The customer wants us to update this old car with a late model front stub so it's more comfortable to drive. That will include fabricating custom mounts for the core support, engine, transmission, and steering column. He also wants us to repair some rusted areas in the floor and trunk.

This custom brackets holds the core support in place while still clearing the steering arms of the late model stub.

Here's a shot of the bolt-in transmission cross member we made.

After mounting the late model steering column, we ran the steering linkage past the custom motor mounts to the steering box.

As you can see, the late model components look like they belong under this car.
